Pattat Family Photo Shoot

I took pictures of the Pattat Family today. The park was crowded, my lovely assistant was unable to attend and help pose the subjects, I didn't have the big lens I usually use and it was about 175 degrees outside. All that considered I think they turned out okay. I got to hand it to Drew he did real good considering how horribly muggy it was outside. Didn't get cranky until the end, I think you will be able to tell by the pictures.

Elizabeth's Photo Shoot

We had Elizabeth Alexander's photo shoot yesterday. She didn't want to smile but I think they still came out okay.

Deja vu all over again

Well last night I got to sit up with Libby as she had her puppies. I finally got to bed at about 6:30 am. I believe she had in the vacinity of 12-15 puppies. I had to help revive puppy #6 (with a little help from Aunt Lacy) and lost count. By the time we got it breathing again the puppies had morphed into one giant squirming pile and were hard to count. This morning she is guarding them from Lacy and Vader so I haven't been able to do a hard count. She was in labor from about 10:15 pm to about 4:10 am.

This past weekend

We were very busy this past weekend. I had 5 days off of work so that was nice. My aunts and mom came to visit. We went to visit my grammy and my great grandmama. I am going to be in a friend of mine wedding in 2 weeks so we had the bridesmaid luncheon on Friday at the Larissa House in Jacksonville. Before that we went to Dillards in Tyler and we all got makeovers. It was very interesting. I thought we all looked like a bunch of freaks. We looked a little too made over in my opinion but it was fun. At the luncheon we ate and talked about our makeover experience and about the upcoming wedding. It was all in all a fun time. That afternoon mom and I got ready for the lingerie shower that was in Palestine at my mothers house. It started at 6 and we had a good turn out. Saturday my sister-in-law, her husband and little boy, Drew came to Tyler. Jonathans's parents and his aunt, uncle, cousin and her husband and little boy, Benjamin and my brother-in-law Christopher all ate lunch at McAlister's. We had a fun time laughing and visiting together. They stayed in town and went to Fire Mountain but Jonathan and I had to get ready to go to Coach Absalom's wedding. We drove to Douglas Tx. In between Alto and Nacodoches. It was a very pretty ceremony and we got to visit with some people we know and Jonathan and Coach got to chat it up for a while. We had a great time and we wish them the best as they begin their new life together.

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

We would like to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July! We aren't doing much of anything. I have to work and Jonathan will probably be watching the World Cup. My 2 aunts and my mom are coming over to spend the night after they go to Louisiana for our family reunion. We will probably watch the fireworks at Lindsey Park from our backyard. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and a couple of great days off work!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!

Well almost half of Jonathan's summer is now over. I can't believe it is already July. If you don't know it is my favorite month (hint, hint). We have stayed really busy so far this summer. Jon is finishing up his "summer job" of creating a dvd/pictures/baseball card thing for the Lindale Ladybugs softball team. We finally got rid of all of our puppies. They all went to really good homes so we are very happy about that. The one that we decided (our friend Julie really decided-more on that later) to keep is named Vader. I had ask her son Logan what he wanted for his birthday and he told me a boy puppy. I ask his mother and she said no way! But she did tell him that he could have one if it stayed at our house. Well.... we were going to keep one anyway (but we were gonna keep a female) so we changed it and kept a boy for him. I asked him what he wanted to name it and he told me Luke. Well, his black lab at his house is named Luke and that would be really confusing (although it would be cute since we already have a Libby and Lacy) so we told him to pick another name and he chose Mater (from Cars the movie) and we didn't really want to call it that. So since Logan and Jonathan LOVE Star Wars they decided to call him Vader. Darth Vader is Logan's favorite character in the movie. He calls him the man with the buttons. Tomorrow is my cousin's 22nd birthday so
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMIE!!!!
